Summer Course Auditor Instructions:
1. Select course(s).
Auditors are permitted to audit a maximum of two courses per summer session. Select courses using the online master schedule and the Summer Sessions course list. Please note that summer studio art courses and non-credit art workshops are not available to auditors. If you wish to participate in a non-credit studio art workshop, you must apply as a visiting student using the visiting student application. Students are not permitted to audit courses with limited seating or courses in which the instructor does not permit auditing.
2. Request instructor’s permission via email.
Use the faculty directory to find instructor’s email address.
3. Forward instructor’s email granting you permission to audit the course to summersessions@dos5.net.
4. Apply online.
Summer Session I registration period for auditors: May 5 - 16, 2025
Summer Session II registration period for auditors: June 9 -20, 2025
Fees
Application fee
- $60 (non-refundable) via credit card on the online auditor application, per session
Course fee
- $250 per course: if you are younger than 55 years old
- $25 per course: alumni and 55 years or older
Please note: Students exclusively auditing courses do not have access to supplemental services such as the Health Services, Counseling Services, Student Academic Services, departmental tutoring, etc.
theSpring: To obtain access to your online course materials, you will need to request/provision your Skidmore account. This process will generate your Skidmore username and password, which you will need in order to login to theSpring and other computing resources. If you encounter problems with this process, please contact the IT Help Desk in the Library (helpdesk@dos5.net or 518-580-5900).
